the pool:

  • Regulation 40 feet x 20 feet x 4 feet above ground pool. Our dock is 40 feet long and sits 2 feet above the water.

  • Open April to November, weather permitting.

who makes a good dock diving candidate?

  • Dogs who love to swim and have a strong toy drive usually love to dock dive! If your dog is jumping off the side of the pool for their toy, they might enjoy dock diving!

How do i get my dog started?

  • We recommend beginning your pup in our indoor pool, so they can get the hang of the ramp system and swimming. Once they’re comfortable getting in and out from the ramp, we can see if they will jump from the edge!

  • If your dog is already jumping or we’re pretty darn sure they will, we offer assisted dock diving sessions with a pro-trainer! Ask us about getting something scheduled!

    • If you’re just looking to have fun and are not interested in competing, any one of our team members is happy to help!

What else should i know before getting my dog out on the dock?

  • Don’t rush it! We do not recommend pushing your dog off the dock, and we can’t guarantee that every dog will enjoy jumping from the dock. That’s okay! They can still have a great time swimming from the ramp.

  • Dock diving is considered a high-impact sport. It’s best to avoid jumping with young puppies or orthopedically compromised dogs.
